St Tom	Feb 6th 2011	STORYTIME St Tom De Furz suggested we compete for the best Pre-season boat preparation story. What a splendid idea A piano! is going for the famous very blue steak cooking instructions…... “you can just wipe it’s bottom and send it out” “pithy and crude yes, but so naïve, almost no plot or character development and lacking pathos, bathos, litotes and satire…… a truly unoriginal observation” – The Observer. Eight boats – Eight great tales Must be few than 85,000 words. The winner gets the admiration of his peers and all the ale she/he can quaff. You must be over 18 and the prize is time limited. News	Feb 6th 2011	SOUTHERN CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Sonata Southern Championships will be held at BYC on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July 2011. Cost £40 per boat. Must join the Sonata Association to enter. Presume fees instructions via BYC. Book the weekend in your diary and select your best (only?) crew. Social events on shore coincide with the racing –how novel.……
